Who we are

This website is run by Centro Bienestar Comunitario (CBC), a Christian nonprofit serving families in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. This policy explains what information we collect through cbc-us.org and how we use it. If you have questions, please reach us through our Contact page.

What we collect and why

When you donate, fill out a form, subscribe to our newsletter or chat with us, we collect the details you choose to give us, such as your name, email, phone number, message and gift amount. We use them only to process your gift, send your receipt, answer you and, if you opt in, send you news about our work. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Online gifts are processed securely by our payment providers through our website platform, Wix. CBC does not see or store your full card or bank details. Wix also uses cookies to run the site; you can choose which optional cookies to allow in the cookie banner.

Sharing, your choices and updates

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this website and process gifts, or when the law requires it. You may ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to us through our Contact page.
